As we were strolling through the historical streets of Melaka, my junior from my university nonchalantly asked me, “Hey, do you want to join us on a trip to Jakarta next January?” Caught off guard by the spontaneity of the invitation, I couldn’t help but inquire about the details. How long were they planning to stay in Jakarta, I wondered.
To my surprise, they mentioned that the trip would span over 10 days. Instantly, I felt a sense of hesitation creeping in. Ten days seemed like a considerable commitment, especially considering my other responsibilities.
“Ten days? That might be a bit challenging for me to swing,” I responded tentatively.

With Dr.’s blessing secured, I wasted no time in contacting my friends to gather the details of our upcoming adventure. After swiftly arranging the logistics and confirming the flight details, I made the spontaneous decision to purchase my ticket to Jakarta.
In that moment, as I clicked the ‘confirm purchase’ button, a wave of exhilaration washed over me. Despite my initial apprehension, I felt an overwhelming sense of anticipation for the journey that lay ahead.
